Inspired by my birth flower, the poppy, this painting is part of a collection that explores the delicate yet vibrant energy the blooms represent. I wanted to capture the essence of their beauty and symbolism through a harmonious balance of light, texture, and color. Painted on a 24"x24" wrapped canvas, the composition emphasizes the striking contrast between the vivid red poppies and the soft, ethereal light filtering through the background. The piece is framed in a custom floating frame, hand-made and stained, further connecting the artwork to the hands-on, personal nature of my artistic process.
